CSD and CH Membership in International Organizations

The Central Securities Depository and Clearing house (CSD) operates in full compliance with the international standards. This fact is reflected in acquiring membership status in the following international organization: Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and European CSD Association (ECSDA).

International organization ANNA represents an international institution that brings together all internationally recognized national numbering agencies authorized for assignation of CFI code (Classification of Financial Instruments), and ISIN number (International Securities Identification Number) to all issued securities in that particular country.

All ANNA members are at the same time its shareholders, so that the CSD acquired one share of this organization just like all other members.

The membership status of the CSD in the ANNA association was officially confirmed at the ANNA Assembly held on June 3-4, 2004 in Oslo, Norway.

Acquiring the membership status in ANNA, the CSD was assigned a unique identification prefix for this country, so that all securities issued on the territory of the Republic of Serbia would bear the same recognizable code on the international market.

As of January 20, 2006 the CSD became a member of ECSDA (European Central Securities Depository Association), which gathered CSDs from the countries of the European Union.

The Central Securities Depository and Clearing House as a member of the mentioned international organizations, conducts its operations in strict compliance with internationally accepted principles and performance criteria.
